Last Night in Driving Dangerously: “car was driving in circles around the Logan statue”

“the car, which did nearly two dozen laps around the circle.

After popping all 4 tires while circling the statue, he made his way down the pedestrian sidewalk west of the circle headed towards P Street and turned on Kingman. He was detained on Q Street by police, who said he was very intoxicated and believed he had done nothing wrong. According to Park Police, he said there was nothing wrong with “driving around the circle…!” He didn’t realize though that the circle he was driving around was the one surrounding the Statue and not actually the street surrounding Logan Circle.”

“A driver drove a car into Logan Circle last night around 9:30pm. Circled around the inner part of the circle at least 5 times before turning and driving off. The bumper of the car is still out there!”

On Saturday March 29th my friend and I took the train from Baltimore to Washington DC to take in the annual cherry blossoms. We had an amazing day taking in all that we could during our 9 hours before catching our train back home. The entire day was a series of events where our timing couldn’t have been better. Despite the huge crowds on this peak weekend, everywhere we went our timing seemed perfect for short waits, best tables and unique fun experiences. Honestly, the day was just magical.

As my friend and I were taking a long walk back to Union Station from the Wharf, I passed a tall handsome man, we made eye contact and both smiled, then exchanged a passing hello. Much to my surprise, (more…)
