Blink your eyes and nine years have passed. 9 years of chickens, chicken fights, gun fights, other fights, lots of love, support, more fights, architecture, rants, raves, real estate, bars, restaurants, development, metro, gardens, doors, pets, more fights, more love – the beautiful life. Let’s celebrate 9 years of the beautiful life by drinking some beers at Solly’s (11th and U Street, NW) next Tuesday Nov. 17th. I’ll be downstairs around 5pm and upstairs opens I think 7 or 8pm. Stop by and say hi – there will be no cake but there will be lots of beer. And honestly I have deep deep gratitude to all of you who help make this site what it is today. Thank you. Thank you for all your tips, emails, tweets, photos, questions, advice and support. You guys are the best and I couldn’t do it without you. Sometimes you drive me crazy but at the end of the day I love you and what we’ve created very much. Let’s lift a glass to 9 more years or until my knees give out.
