“The District’s reported data for Monday, January 18, 2021 includes 226 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 34,259.
The District reported that four additional residents lost their lives due to COVID-19.

· 70-year-old male
· 72-year-old female
· 91-year-old female
Tragically, 861 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

“On January 18, 2021, at approximately 9:35 pm, members of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the unit block of Farragut Pl NW for a shooting. Once on the scene a victim was located suffering from several gunshot wounds. The Victim is being treated at a local hospital and the case is under investigation.
