“No more Subway in the Eastern Market area! I tried to open the door to head in for my morning Oven Roasted Chicken on wheat and then saw the sign. It’s a loss for me. I loved the staff here. One employee’s wife even made my whole family traditional Tanzanian garments for Christmas one year.”
Thanks to Stacy for sending the live action from Hill East:

“A little PSA – just had a phishing scam. Someone “from Pepco” calling to reduce my bills by 30%, they just needed me to provide my Residential-R service number. Got off the phone and called Pepco to ask about it. Supposedly with that number they can hijack your account.”

I have plans to travel in the next few months and need to get some vaccines like Yellow Fever for some upcoming travels. I’m hoping the community can chime in as I know a lot of people in the DC area travel for work and pleasure to places that need these shots. I’m looking for recommendations for travel clinics or doctors, ideally downtown, that are knowledgeable, won’t try to over-medicate me and also won’t break the bank for shots like Yellow Fever and a prescription for malaria pills.”
