“The demolition underway in the triangle lot at New Hampshire, Georgia and Rock Creek Church Road has exposed this painted sign for the Colonial Bakery. I found a photo of the same sign on the Historical Society of DC website, dated between 1926 and 1936.
Anybody know anything about this old business?”
