Thanks to Gordon Chaffin for sharing:

“I work outside around the city, and it’s been inspiring to see more and more homes fly the D.C. flag, and/or yard signs for Statehood, Free D.C., or the anti-tyranny stuff that Flags for Good makes.

I was stopped in my tracks by the 1700 block of Bay St SE. Nearly every house was flying the D.C. flag. The weather last night was great, the sunset was gorgeous on Hill East, and the show of defiant pride was moving.

History

I will be sad when whoever takes over this site in 50 years posts a physical book as an Archeological Finds… God forbid.

Thanks to Wendy for sending from “the LoC Madison building – a pay phone!

It’s not a Christmas tree, but still unusual.”

If you have a photo of a neat “archeological find” from your house, place of work or neighborhood please send an email to [email protected] thanks. Please let me know where/what neighborhood you found it in too. Thanks.
