Georgetown

1524 Wisconsin Avenue, NW

From YELLOW:

Starting Tuesday, April 14, we’ll be moving to an all-day counter service model at YELLOW Georgetown. Tuesday through Saturday, we’ll be open straight through from 8AM to 8PM for an uninterrupted day of all your favorite hand-crafted pastries, mezze + pita sandwiches, and coffee with no more mid-day closure. That means starting mid-April, gone are the days of clearing out the cafe at 3:00 – instead, we’ll continue to offer that same buzzy vibe of hospitality-oriented counter service and more of what’s at the core of YELLOW. Sunday and Monday will maintain the same 8AM to 3PM schedule.

Now, the “bad” news – this change does mean that our (not) Pizza pop-up is coming to an end at YELLOW Georgetown after service on April 11. But, (more…)

To celebrate, Clyde’s Restaurant Group, a DC institution since 1963, has released a limited-edition merch collection — and once they’re gone, they’re gone. A donkey and an elephant, dressed to the nines in red, white, and blue, clinking glasses across the table. The Hat  ($25) Embroidered Clyde’s 250 logo cap. Choose your colorway: white with navy thread, or navy with red thread. Structured fit with an adjustable back strap.

Grab a hat and receive $5 off an adult tee. Discount applied automatically at checkout.

Since 1963, Clyde’s Restaurant Group has been a staple in the Washington dining scene. What started as a single bar on M Street is now a family of over a dozen distinctive properties across DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia including Old Ebbitt Grill, The Hamilton, Rye Street Tavern, Cordelia Fishbar, 1789 Restaurant, The Tombs, Fitzgerald’s, and six Clyde’s locations. Each has its own personality while all share the same commitment to warm, polished hospitality. With Ebbitt House opening soon in Reston, the story keeps going.

On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the National Archives will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the country’s founding, steps away from the original Declaration of Independence, on Constitution Avenue.

For more than 50 years, the National Archives has held its annual Fourth of July program, and this year the tradition continues with historical reenactors and a dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence. Additional free family-friendly activities include a chance to meet reenactors portraying the Founding Fathers and Mothers, live musical performances, face painting, t-shirt giveaways, balloon artists, arts and crafts, and more.
