A reader reports at 8:41am: “Just got offloaded on red line at Rhode Island bc someone was hit by train there.”
From WMATA:
“Red Line: Trains are single tracking between Rhode Island Ave and NoMa-Gallaudet because of a trespasser struck by a train at Rhode Island Avenue. Expect delays in both directions. Some trains will offload at strategic locations to minimize train traffic.”

“Dear PoPville,
The newly reopened Lucky Bar has nothing in common with the institution it replaced. The original was a true football pub with identity, history, and atmosphere. Flags from dozens of nations, club scarves, and years of match-day memorabilia created a place where supporters – friends and rivals alike – gathered for early EPL kickoffs, major tournaments, and the biggest moments in the sport.
