Heard that East Potomac tennis center is closing on October 1st after 30 years due to issues with the landlord or lease? Any intel?”

East Potomac Tennis Center’s website says:

Compass Coffee Taking Over Foxtrot Space in Adams Morgan – Could Be Opening as early as Friday!

1827 Adams Mill Road, NW, prior to Foxtrot this space was home to a Philz coffee, which closed back in January 2023. Prior to Philz this space was a gas station and I used to buy Parliament lights, (yes I grew up on Strong Island), there on my way to Angles (RIP) but enough about me.

“Compass Coffee is moving into space formerly occupied by Foxtrot in Adams Morgan. Guy loading in with Compass van said they’re opening Friday.”
