“Spotted at M & 18th St NW. It was just on the side of a building, almost perfectly still. Didn’t budge when I came up a little closer to take the picture. Looks like a Common Buckeye to me.”

“Fifth District ADW Gun 1700 block Trinidad Ave NE

Tonight at approximately 2140 hours Victims 1, 2, & 3 report that while outside they were the victims of a shooting. The victims all sustained non life threatening injuries and have been transported to area hospitals for treatment. There is no look out for the suspects at this time. The case is currently being investigated by the Fifth District Detectives Office. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact MPD at 202-727-9099″

Every first Sunday of the month shoppers will be able to browse Logan Circle’s newest monthly creative and vintage market. Logan Circle Main Street, in partnership with K-Bird, Barrel House Cafe & Bar, and Emily of LOVERS Plant Studio & Wares, host a monthly outdoor market designed to bring together local artists, makers, small businesses, and neighbors in the heart of the Logan Circle community.

The next market will be Sunday June 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM along P Street and Rhode Island Avenue NW, including the exterior of K-Bird and the northern exterior of Barrel House Cafe & Bar.

“Officers in the Third District recovered 2 illegal firearms in the Columbia Heights area today. The first gun was recovered during the execution of a search warrant in the 3000 block of 14th Street NW. The second gun was recovered on the 2800 block of 14th Street NW. Arrests were made in both cases.

We will continue our efforts to remove illegal firearms from our community and hold those individuals who have them accountable.”

“On September 26, 2019 at approximately 9:30 pm, members of the Fourth District observed an adult male in the 4900 block of Georgia Avenue, NW, who appeared to armed with a gun. (more…)
