Brentwood


2300 Washington Place, NE

Update from MPD:

“On January 27, 2020, members of the Fifth District were dispatched to the parking garage at 2350 Washington Place NE for the report of an assault. An on scene investigation revealed that an adult male was assaulted on the second floor of the parking garage. The victim then either fell or jumped from the second level and landed on a dumpster below. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and subsequently released.

An overnight investigation led by the Fifth District Detectives Unit yielded a DC Superior Court Search Warrant. The warrant was executed by Detectives and members of the Fifth District Crime Suppression Team. An adult male was arrested with the recovery of a semi-automatic handgun with a large capacity magazine as well as a large amount of marijuana and US Currency.

The case continues to be investigated by the the Fifth District Detectives Unit, anyone with information is asked to call (202)727-9099″

what the heck happened yesterday at rhode island row parking garage? the incident happened at approximately 6:30-6:45p yesterday. I got there as the ambulance drove away and before the scores of cop and investigator cars flooded the area. i was stuck in the garage (parked my car there during the day) for 2.5 hours while they were investigating a crime scene that involved a fight blood and a guy jumped or was thrown off the 3rd story of the parking garage (more…)
