Well my friends, I got a sneak a peek of the holy land – D.C.’s first Wegmans! And there are no words. Well there’s actual a huge fact sheet which I’ll include below. I also took a bunch of photos of the 84,000 sq. ft. Shangri-La. Since the store is opening on Wednesday it wasn’t fully stocked but the photos will give you a good snapshot of what’s to be. (more…)

“Dear PoPville,

Looks like Ossobuco Restaurant on 11th has closed. They emptied the restaurant this week and seem to be finishing packing up the last bits of wine/decor today. All that’s left are a few pillows used for seating in the window seats. Sad to see them go – they always gave our dog treats when we walked by, but never seemed very busy.”
