“Dear PoPville,

Any word from anyone on what folks on the street said was a shooting in Capitol Hill? That is literally what people were saying on the sidewalk down the block when I saw that We, The Pizza was taped off, a great number of police were present and Pennsylvania Avenue was blocked.”

“Dear PoPville,

Pesce Too (sister to Pesce in Dupont now located at 2002 P Street, NW) is now open as a popup…the owner indicated they would be there as long as they are wanted. We had dinner the other night at Pesce Too and it was delicious. 6 tables of 4 plus small bar seating…open wed through Saturday and they should be here through the summer.”

I’m aware that a car is slightly behind me. Light turns green, I proceed ahead, staying to the far right so the car can pass me, even pausing behind a parked car on the opposite side of the intersection so it can pass. It pulls up very close behind me, and I assume it’s to let the car coming the opposite direction get by. So I pull around the parked car and stop again in front of the parked car, again trying to let the driving car go past.
