“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill while Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, July 28, 2019, in the 600 block of T Street, Northwest.
At approximately 2:48 pm, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located four adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. (more…)

Profs and Pints DC presents: “Artemis II and Beyond,” on how the recent space mission fits into long-term plans for the Moon, with Michael J. Neufeld, retired senior curator for the Space History Department of the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum.
NASA’s recent, spectacular Artemis II mission is a sign that the United States is serious about sending humans to the Moon again.

Mike passes on this very sad news to us: “Ken Nankervis, the former employee of A Litteri, who bought the place from Michael DeFrancisci about a year ago, died on Thanksgiving Day. Very sad. He was only 52.”
