Early Morning Triple Shooting in Shaw; 10:50pm Shooting on H Street, NE

Update from MPD:

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, July 28, 2019, in the 600 block of T Street, Northwest.

At approximately 3:47 am, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location. The suspect brandished a gun and fired shots. The suspect then fled the scene. Two victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Additionally, two other victims refused medical treatment on scene.

The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos and video link below:

Anyone who can identify this individual or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.”

From MPD around 4:30am:

“The Third District is currently a triple shooting in the 600 block of T Street NW. 3 adult males have been transported to area hospitals with non life threatening injuries. Detectives are on the scene investigating.

Motorists and pedestrians can expect road closures in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099.”

“First District members were called to the corner of 8th and H Street NE for an adult male shot in his leg.This occurred around 10:50 tonight.. a male subject was seen fleeing from the location on a red bike. Anyone that may have witnessed this or has any information as to any part of this is asked to call 202-727-9099 or email me directly at [email protected].”
