“On February 13th, around 2:06 p.m., my family’s life changed forever. My little brother, Kenny Jimenez Rivera, just 26 years old, suffered a tragic accident in the 4100 block of Kansas Avenue NW, northeast of Washington, D.C., while working with his girlfriend. They were riding an electric bicycle when they were struck by a garbage truck, leaving them critically injured.

Kenny was a very cheerful, playful, fun-loving, vibrant, and kind young man. (more…)

A woman crashed on an electric bike around 8:10ish last night (Thursday) and was lying unconscious in the middle of the road in Cleveland Park on Porter St NW towards the bottom of the hill. The two gentleman who found her called 911 and when I arrived I helped them to move her out of the middle of the road per the 911 operator’s instructions. She was unconscious, but (more…)

Sunday, February 15 around 2:15pm at NOMA Gallaudet metro station. I was seated on the train and you came in and sat across the aisle from me, the car was relatively empty. The train was on the side of the tracks, as if going to Glenmont, however Metro was single tracking so when the train started moving, it went towards Union Station. (You saw the train sign read Shady Grove so you were going in the right direction)
