From an email:

La Cosecha, a showcase for Latin American businesses in Union Market District, is launching a fresh new phase of culinary excitement with two notable openings from businesses with deep roots in this community. Panamanian coffee roaster Unido, which opened its very first U.S. location at La Cosecha in 2019, is moving into a larger anchor space with a kitchen and bar, while Miguel Guerra’s Donisima Donuts will move into Unido’s former location as a permanent home.

Unido
Opening: April 2026

An original La Cosecha partner since 2019, Unido is experiencing a new phase of growth for the brand. Known for its Panamanian specialty coffee and its focus on showcasing beans from small producers, Unido will expand into an anchor space inside the market. CEO Alejandro Carvallo is growing the concept into an all-day cafe and evening bar with an expanded food and drinks menu.

Donisima Donuts
Opening: May 2026

Taking over Unido’s original location is Donisima Donuts is the latest project from Miguel Guerra, Chef and Co-founder of MITA, the Michelin-starred restaurant and James Beard semifinalist for Best New Restaurant. Guerra’s relationship with La Cosecha runs deep, beginning with the first iteration of MITA as a long-running pop-up in La Cosecha’s open-format kitchen and event space.

Beginning as an occasional pop-up, Donisima returns in a permanent, expanded format, offering Guerra’s take on Latin inspired‑ donuts and pastries. This new opening marks a natural next step that reflects both his long relationship with Union Market District and the kind of homegrown success La Cosecha continues to foster.
