Alba Osteria opened at the end of 2013. A trailblazer for the area. But I’m now hearing that they will be changing their concept to tacos. The tipster is one of the tipsters who accurately told us about Sixth Engine’s closure. I therefore give this an accuracy rating of 88%. Updates when/if we learn more.

This is the former Shaw’s Bijou/French Quarter Brasserie space. Chaplin’s is located down the street at 9th and P Street, NW and opened back in 2014.

We wandered into Seasons and Sessions Sunday night and ended up having the greatest experience. I haven’t been in since it reopened, and we had such a great time that I want to make sure more people give these guys some business. “Dear PoPville,
Over the last couple of months Morgan’s Seafood has been replacing drywall, windows and wall cladding. It looks like more significant work may need to be done, but it looks a lot better. There was a sign earlier advertising the Georgia Avenue Facade Improvement project, which I have never heard of. I wish something would be done to reactivate the corner across the street that had a liquor store and parking lot, as it’s a prime location with a lot of apartments and condos being added to the area.”
