I’ve been lots of queries about the status of Open City at the National Cathedral. Their website says they remain temporarily closed but a reader had heard that they will be reopening in the Fall. However today they posted a temporary reprieve on their IG:

Jeff reports: “Saw the owner of Tacos El Chilango tonight (Tuesday) and he told me tonight is their last night. The Arlington location (a food truck I think) is remaining open.”

A call to the restaurant this morning rings without a voicemail option.

Tacos El Chilango opened in 2012 next to Izakaya Seki on V Street.
