I’ve been lots of queries about the status of Open City at the National Cathedral. Their website says they remain temporarily closed but a reader had heard that they will be reopening in the Fall. However today they posted a temporary reprieve on their IG:
“We’re back (temporarily) for the 4th!! Celebrate Independence Day with us and enjoy an ice cream cone before the fireworks! Ice cream will be available on our patio two hours before the firework show starts. We’re in the process of reopening our doors (more details coming soon)“
