“Our new Progressive Taco HH: From 4 to 4:30pm Chicken Tinga, Al Pastor, Carnitas & Calabacita Tacos are $1. $2 from 4:30 to 5pm; $3 from 5 to 5:30pm; and $3.5 from 5:30 to 6pm. Mon-Fri; 3 per order at a time; no carry out; must order beverage from bar but doesn’t have to be alcoholic.”

“Someone told me over the phone yesterday that they’re under new management and reopening in 1-2 weeks with the same staff and menu.”

Note: El Camino’s original owners opened up here back in October 2014.  El Camino closed back in September 2018. The new owners reopened El Camino here back in 2019.

Well this is wild. A liquor license placard for Dos Locos has been applied for at 3116 Mount Pleasant Street, NW – which is currently home to the long standing Mount Pleasant institution – Dos Gringos. When I walked by the placard wasn’t actually posted and a worker looked at my like I was crazy when I asked if they’d heard about it.
