“The District’s reported data for Tuesday, February 2, 2021 includes 61 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 37,199.

The District reported that five additional residents lost their lives due to COVID-19.

· 57-year-old male
· 58-year-old female
· 81-year-old male
· 81-year-old female
· 96-year-old female

Tragically, 926 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

Emir shares with us yesterday: “#traderjoes of 14th street #WashingtonDC has a very low inventory due to the snow storm. They’ll restock Thursday #dc”

Rachel notes the effects of the storm were felt as early as Sunday: “Not gonna lie, almost cried when I saw they were out of salted peanut butter pretzels on Sunday lol”

and Ivana noted yesterday: “And don’t bother going to the Safeway at 5th/L St, they’re out of nearly everything”

Unfortunately more carjackings reported yesterday. Stacc Janford reported at 5:07pm “carjacking in broad day light at 3401 Idaho Ave NW. More cops showing up and some heading south down Wisconsin Ave”
