Clyde is 24 pounds of love and absolute devotion. Exercise is key for this little terrier guy. A home with a fenced yard is ideal but not required. Clyde is currently in training for separation anxiety and is working on not barking while alone or crated. Clyde also needs a home where his new family is dedicated to working on his leash reactivity through exercise and training.
Despite his challenges, he’s a very quick learner and has great potential to be the best boy when housed in the right environment! He is ridiculously sweet, devoted, and loving. Clyde loves rubbing his head on your chest and snuggling up in any and all nooks. He is also quite adventurous and hardy – he enjoys being outside, laying in the sun, and playing with his toys. He loves a good squeaker and is also a huge fan of chasing after his ball. Clyde looks forward to greeting you with tail wags, hind-leg circus dog dancing, and an abundance of cuddles when you walk in the door. He can’t wait to meet his forever family! Apply today to meet Clyde!

They say big things come in small packages. Thomas is proof of this idiom. He is a small ball of immense sweetness and energy. He loves playing with humans, cats, and toys. When he tires himself out, he enjoys taking a nap nest to his friends. Thomas purrs as soon as you touch him and loves to be carried around like a little baby.
Thomas has symblepharon, which is an eye issue where the conjunctival tissue adheres to either another conjunctival surface or to the cornea. Thomas had a surgical procedure that went well and he is stable, however, he may need further treatment/tissue trimming in the future.

Thanks to Kristin for sending earlier this afternoon: “FYI- dogs are being electrocuted by a pepco manhole on 9th and T St. Please avoid walking over manholes with your dogs during these snowy/icy/salty conditions. Last night, a dog was shocked while walking on it and was in an almost paralyzed state for a few minutes. We put a sign over it and called 311. Firefighters are here now roping off the area.”
