“Washington Nationals Philanthropies has proudly partnered with Bluejacket Brewery on the release of “We Are the Ship, All Else the Sea” in honor of Black History Month. The label honors Washington Homestead Grays great and Washington Nationals Ring of Honor member Josh Gibson. The Double IPA was brewed to celebrate the District’s rich baseball history and raise money for future generations of ballplayers through the work of the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy (YBA).
Beginning Friday, February 19, “We Are the Ship, All Else the Sea” will be available at the Bluejacket brewery, Shelter and online via Neighborhood Provisions. 10% of all proceeds will be donated to the YBA’s HUSTLE Program. To learn more about the brewery, make reservations or order online, please visit bluejacketdc.com.
The HUSTLE Program uses competitive baseball and softball experiences to promote character development and an active lifestyle – instilling values of leadership, accountability, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence.
