I’m sorry I couldn’t get to everyone’s sidewalk of shame submission but this last one was one of the worse I’ve seen. Anyone know’s responsible for this section? A reader nominates:
“On P in Georgetown, just west of the bridge”

“Pretty much every sidewalk in Georgetown was shoveled, but not the Apple Store.”

I was wondering what was going on at the former Yummi Crawfish (puro cafe) before that – found lots of info from their design team:
“Once in a while we hear of a project that touches close to home and one of our latest clients, Zannchi is just that. A team of two young, inspired, Georgetown MBA students reached out to us to help bring their dreams into reality. What they have created is a fresh, new concept Korean restaurant that will be sure to grab the attention of any food fan in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Having family from Korea we were able to draw from family experience and trips abroad to create a amazing dining experience that will compliment the amazing food that will be served. Its been a pleasure working with their team and we cannot wait for the grand opening in a few short weeks. You can find their restaurant right in the heart of Georgetown on Wisconsin Avenue. The expected opening date is the second week of February so be sure to stop by and check out what big dreams and amazing execution can create. We have a few surprises in terms of the design and you will want to keep posted to see the big finished reveal. And the whole store is 60% off I got some sweet deals yesterday when I was following up on the Five Guys closing. So if you see someone clad head to toe in denim taking photos around town… An employee at the store told me their last day will be the 26th.
From a press release:
“Cutting-edge fashion is coming to Georgetown. EastBanc, Inc. and Jamestown LP announced that Kit & Ace, the innovative clothier of men’s and women’s technical cashmere attire, signed a 10-year lease to occupy the 6,500-square-foot retail space at 3263 M Street, NW. Located in the Levi’s Store retail space, this will be Kit & Ace’s third DC-area location with plans to occupy the Georgetown site in first quarter 2016 with a grand opening slated for this summer. Jennifer Price of KLNB Retail represented Kit & Ace in the deal. (more…)
