An update on one of the more interesting combos coming to town from JACO Juice and Taco Bar:

“Hey everyone! It looks like we’ll finally be able to open our doors for business this week! Keep your eyes on this page for the official announcement & in the meantime here’s some pictures:”

You can see their PA menu here: Baco_Menu (PDF)

Dammit. This will make it harder for SOFA, the soda and fajita bar, to succeed.

but do you think MACHO, the margarita/nacho bar has a future?

Applause for Anon 12:53 and bll. :)

They should probably edit their menu to include the DC location and change their name since their name is now JACO and not BACO. Apparently. I don’t know. I’m confused.

There is another small Mexican restaurant, Los Cuates, just a block or so away. Will this be a bit of Mexican food overkill for one area?

as a fellow Texan in DC (presuming your screenname), i’m going to go with NOT POSSIBLE. ;)

In PA (West Chester) they are BACO, not sure why they are JACO in DC. I am freaking obsessed with Baco though. Everyone should check them out.

Oh, I’m glad to hear their other location is good! I’m usually looking for a small lunch when I’m over in Georgetown and their menu seems to fit the bill. I’m excited!

West Chester location officially changed to Jaco this week! As a brand we had to change because of a trademark issue! Sorry for the confusion everyone!

      • PopOverWork

Awesome! Love you guys. Give me all the banana bread smoothies. Love having a piece of West Chester in DC!

I like this and will definitely give them a try.

It seems like everything new and cool is sold as a “bar”. Wine bars, taco bars, bread bars, coffee bars, burger bars…
