I ran into the owners and they told me they are NOT closed! They have a gas connection issue and are waiting on the landlord to fix it. I think the landlord is pushing back saying they are not going to fix it so they have closed indefinitely. Can we please help them?? They are a Korean couple who don’t speak the best English. Let’s get them open again!! Maybe a legally-minded reader could help!”

Nicole wrote over the weekend: “Please share a PSA about rat poison. Our foster dog got a hold of this loaf of what turns out to be rat poison at the corner of 6th and R NW. It was just cold chilling in grass in a tree box. There was a rat bait box not too far away.”

I was taking a nice walk in the woods Friday afternoon on a trail from 44th St. NW to the Glover-Archbold trail. I was a minute west of the Glover-Archbold trail when a bunch of dogs aggressively ran up to me and surrounded me on the trail. They were growling and barking as if they were about to attack me. On Friday we posted a petition pleading for the “practice of live sandwich making to the DC Wegmans.” And soon it shall be – update from the fine folks at Wegmans:
“We are planning on having a made-to-order sub shop station at the Wisconsin Ave store. In fact, we have been planning on it for a bit but were unable to get equipment and fixtures in time for opening.
