“Dear PoPville,

I was hoping the community could populate a list of what — post COVID — businesses that are truly, really open 24 hours (and not just eateries like Bob & Edith’s).

Kramer’s in Dupont used to be 24 hours, as did a few Walmarts in the region. Would love to get a list started of where we can go late night for food and shopping.”

Has anyone else been noticing the bus operator availability for a lot of routes recently? It’s quite frustrating since a lot of the common commuter routes has implemented “increased rides” during peak hours, but now (more…)

“Dear PoPville,

I just wanted to remind folks to be wary of people coming to their door asking for your Pepco account number. Last night I had someone from Inspire Energy come to my door trying to get me to switch to their green energy supplier. He told me that if I didn’t switch to a green energy source I would have two fees added to my Pepco bill, and this door-to-door visit was my “final notice.” (more…)
