A combo hardware and coffee shop, with offices above, will be taking over the historic 18,000 SF former nurse’s quarters in Building 12, the building right on Main Drive across from the playground. News of the purchase was announced earlier this fall. Building 12 will be revitalized and transformed into a True Value-branded hardware store that pays homage to its heritage, paired with Blue’s Coffee & Tea Co., a Washington, DC-based Black family-owned coffee and tea cafe. Blue’s Coffee has previously sold their coffee at the farmers market at The Parks. (more…)
