Thanks to my daughter for the heads up: “Elmina is a contemporary Ghanaian restaurant opening in Washington, DC by celebrated Chef and Restauranteur, Eric Adjepong. Opening January 2025”

Elmina’s website says:

“OPENING JAN 2025

Elmina is a contemporary Ghanaian restaurant OPENING in Washington DC BY CELEBRATED CHEF AND RESTAURATER, ERIC ADJEPONG. Influenced by HIS love for global cuisines, the aim is a bold dining experience that goes beyond a mere meal. Stay tuned for more information about our grand opening.”

Washingtonian first reported the address as 2208 14th St., NW.

Their IG says:

“Big things are happening! I’m excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at my new restaurant, Elmina. 🎉

Beyond modern design and a menu I’m passionate about, cleanliness and efficiency are critical components for my business’s success. That’s why working with a trusted partner like @ecolab_inc and implementing the Ecolab Science Certified™ program are top priorities as we plan for our opening in January.

Ecolab’s expertise and science-backed products help partners advance cleaner, safer practices, making it easier for teams to focus on the guest experience and serve up incredible food. With the ESC program in place, restaurants have the tools and training needed to help streamline operations and build trust right from the start.

Can’t wait for you all to join us at Elmina!”

STAY TUNED.
