“This morning at approximately 1:00 am, the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call for shooting in the 1800 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NW. When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital conscious and breathing. There is no lookout for the suspect at this time. The east side of Dupont Circle will remain closed until further notice as this investigation continues. “ANOTHER DUPONT CIRCLE SHOOTING (2ND WEEKEND IN A ROW)- a 27-year-old man going now to a trauma center after he was shot in the eye. He is conscious. No suspect info.”

“The Fifth District is working a shooting in the 100 block of Q Street NW that occurred on November 22, 2017 at approximately 3:49PM. The victim reports while standing on the sidewalk he heard several shots then realized he was shot once in the upper left leg. The victim was treated at a local hospital. The Lookout for the male with the handgun is a medium skin, 18-40 years old, heavy build, wearing dark jeans and a black hoodie. Any information please contact 2027279099

As for right now there is no evidence to connect the shooting in the unit block of N Street NW that occurred on November 21 with this incident. The Fifth District Detective’s office is investigating both cases.”

“Earlier today [Thursday], at approximately 1:30pm, members of the Third District responded to the 200 block of V Street NW in reference to the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival on the scene, officers located an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound to her lower extremities. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“Detectives with the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District seek the public’s assistance in identifying four persons of interest in reference to a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense which occurred in the 2500 block of Woodley Road, Northwest, on Thursday, November 16, 2017.

At approximately 9:38 pm, four suspects approached the victim and assaulted her. The suspects then took her personal property and fled the scene.

A nearby surveillance camera captured four persons of interest in this case. They can be seen in this video (above.)

“Confirmed Shooting at 1540 hrs in the Unit block of Hanover, NW. No Lookout at time.”

Update from MPD:

“5D responded for a call for service for a shooting in the unit block of N St NW. Upon arriving on the scene, MPD found a 15 y/o juvenile male that appeared to have been shot in the right leg. The juvenile was transported (conscious & breathing) to an area hospital for treatment. There is no suspect lookout. “Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit announced an arrest has been made in a First Degree Sexual Abuse offense which occurred in the 4300 block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northwest, on Sunday, November 19, 2017.

At approximately 3:23 am, the victim received a ride, in what she believed was a vehicle for hire, from the suspect. When the suspect arrived at the listed location, he ordered the victim to exit the vehicle and then sexually assaulted her.

On Monday, November 20, 2017, 36 year-old El houcine Jourhdaly of Springfield, Virginia, was placed under arrest and charged with First Degree Sexual Abuse.

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, November 17, 2017, in the 1100 block of Kenyon Street, Northwest.

At approximately 1:19 am, the suspect approached the victim, inside of an establishment, at the listed location. The suspect brandished two knives and then lunged at the victim. The victim was able to deflect the assault without sustaining any injuries. The suspect then fled the location.

The suspect, described as a white male, was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in these photos (above.)

“Dear PoPville,

Woke up to gun shots at 155am followed by a heavy police presence near Otis Place and Georgia ave nw.”

From MPD:

“At 1:40 this morning an adult male victim was inside of La Morenita at 3539 block of Georgia Ave. NW. The victim went outside to smoke and asked the suspect for a cigarette. The male suspect produced a handgun from his waistband and struck the victim in the face with the gun. The victim fled on foot and flagged down police a short time later. As a result of the assault the victim was transported to the hospital for a minor injury to his nose.

The lookout for the suspect is a Hispanic male 30-35 years old, 5’6″ wearing a blue jacket.

“On Sunday, around 2:00 am, MPD officers responded to the sounds of gun shots in the 3600 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. During a canvass of the area, the officers located an adult male that was suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1000 block of Spring Road, NW. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

“At approximately 1:57 am, MPD officers responded to 18th and M Street, NW for the sound of gunshots. Officers quickly arrived on the scene and located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower torso. Two suspects were immediately apprehended while attempting to flee from the scene. The shooting victim was conscious and breathing and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries.”
