Last week Duke’s Counter gave me a check that included a charge for of $1.50 for a “side” because I had asked for, and received, more mustard. I probably should have pointed out that the sandwich was supposed to have mustard on it, but that it couldn’t be tasted. (more…)

Today, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announces the launch of the highly anticipated District E-Bike Incentive Program that will help District residents—particularly of low income—purchase an e-bike using a voucher worth as much as $2,000. Back in December we shared the scuttlebutt that the folks from Bagels and Baguette would be coming to former Bethesda Bagels space. Now we know the name – Bon Beke’s!!
