Park Place apartments at New Hampshire and Georgia Ave, NW technically 850 Quincy St, NW

No, I’ve never actually heard of Burgerim but this damn retail space has been vacant for so long – I’m marking this as a win!! Also, burgers!!

1226 H Street, NE

It was exactly a year ago today that we learned that the H Street, NE Popeyes had closed for remodeling. Then this past August we said they were about to reopen. Well, we were wrong. In the words of the great Glen’s Garden Market owner Mea Culpa. However, our man on H Street, Grant, tells us:

“the wood is down in front of Popeye’s H Street. TVs are on, registers are running. Opening seems imminent.”

See for yourself and STAY TUNED.
