A couple months ago we reported that Panas Gourmet Empandadas were shut down by the Department of Health due to their business license being expired according to Panas. Last month their front door got smashed.
Panas first opened up at 2029 P Street, NW back in June 2010. A good run. Thanks to Jonathan Padget for the final update:

Updates when we learn what becomes of the space. In the meantime the new Chiko is open next door as is the new Italian deli sorellina.
