It was an electrifying start to ArtRave’s 19th season, with a record-breaking attendance of 11,000 people! A huge thanks goes out to our supporters who came out in droves. We also extend our gratitude to the incredibly talented artisans across various artistic disciplines. Finally, a special shout-out to our dedicated staff for curating such a remarkable event and paying attention to every detail that makes ArtRave a unique venue. From fine arts and sculptures to high fashion, wood carving, table making, metalwork, live plants including Bonsai trees, book authorship, gourmet cuisine, and delicious baked goods, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

“DC Water Advances Work to Repair Damaged Section of Potomac Interceptor
Emergency repair expected to take 4-6 weeks, followed by long-term rehabilitation

DC Water crews and its contractors, working under challenging conditions over the past month, are nearing completion of an enhanced bypass system that will allow emergency repairs to begin on a damaged section of the Potomac Interceptor. The emergency repair is expected to take another 4-6 weeks once the enhanced bypass system is activated and will address the immediate repairs to the damaged section of the pipe, restore wastewater flow back into the Potomac Interceptor, eliminate the temporary bypass pumping system in the C&O Canal, and allow for environmental restoration.

“We are heartbroken beyond words by the tragic loss of our beloved Rayven Amuan Edwards—a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, cousin, and friend. Rayven’s life was taken by domestic violence. leaving behind three innocent young children. Her daughter Royal was shot and hospitalized, while her younger brothers were forced to witness the violent loss of their mother.
