The Legal Cliche first alerted us around 9:30am: “Big police presence with guns drawn.”

Update from a reader 10:35am: “I live nearby, saw them bring out two teenagers/young adults just now. Looks like they may have been in the red house because earlier they had them come to the front window on the top floor and put their hands up. Then it was like 30 mins until they just brought them out. One kid went into a cop car without issue, the other just resisted getting in and they pushed him around until he got in. Rest of the cops are leaving now. It was quite the scene over the past hour.” (more…)

Event

The DC Chamber Musicians close out the 25-26 season with popular works by Brahms and Dohnanyi, and three selections of newer works that are sure to delight. All set in the lovely St. Thomas’ Parish Episcopal Church in the Dupont Circle neighborhood. Join us afterward for a reception featuring light refreshments (including beer and wine) and an opportunity to chat with the musicians.
