Bailey wrote around 7:15pm Sunday night: “shots went off again all around the 600 Block of Morton again. Multiple police on the scene off Georgia Ave. Police are medically attending to at least one person”

Zachary replied: “Lottttssss of shoootttssss. Four police were on the scene from Warder street while shooting was still happening.”

Chuck replied: “Homicide.”

MPD wrote: “Alert: Shooting Investigation at 1906hrs in the 600 block of Morton St NW. One suspect in custody. DO NOT TAKE ACTION CALL 911”

“The District’s reported data for September 2, 2021 includes 200 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 55,918.

The District reported that one additional resident lost his life due to COVID-19.

Tragically, 1,162 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

To the untrained eye it appears to be an older VW GTI, but in fact it is a famous Italian race car not commonly seen in the U.S. “The Lancia Delta is one of the most success rally cars ever, having won the World Rally Championship for manufacturers six times between 1987 and 1992.”
