“Dear PoPville,
The Streets Market at 15th and Pennsylvania is open now. We were in last night and the checkout people were lamenting that the traffic has been a little slow, so far, so sending this in hopes of getting them a bit more publicity. No complaints with Safeway but it’s also nice to have another market in the neighborhood. They have a suggestion box for people to request items for them to stock.
Hope Hill East and EOTR neighbors will make their way in soon.”

I’m hearing from a very good source that a Barnes and Noble bookstore is looking to come to the building where Total Wine is located. Waiting on confirmation but I think they would do very well there!
Barnes and Noble is slowing reemerging on the DC scene with relatively recent (re) openings in Georgetown (2024) and Penn Quarter (January 2026.)
