“Forest City Washington is pleased to announce The Juice Laundry, founded in Charlottesville, Virginia, will be joining the line-up at The Yards this spring—the all- organic, vegan and gluten-free juice bar and raw-food kitchen’s first location outside its home market.
The Juice Laundry owners Mike and Sarah Keenan have signed for an 1,800-square-foot space on the ground level of Arris, Forest City’s newest apartment community at 1331 Fourth St. SE. “Expanding into in Washington, D.C., provides us with an exciting opportunity to connect with a new community of people interested in exploring a holistic approach to wellness and healthy living,” the Keenans said.

The Juice Laundry menu features cold-pressed juices, nut milks, smoothies, acai smoothie bowls and soups, using only whole foods.
To celebrate its upcoming location at The Yards and introduce the Washington market to its organic, vegan and gluten-free experience, The Juice Laundry will open a pop-up shop this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2 and 3, at Steadfast Supply, a collective retail space at the Arris that supports the local creative community in D.C.
