Update from MPD:
“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced the arrests of two suspects involved in separate homicide incidents that occurred on Sunday, November 27, 2016.
“When tragedy strikes there is no more necessary and effective way to bring justice than to find, arrest, convict, and imprison those who do not value human life,” said Mayor Muriel Bowser. “I want to thank the public who came forward with information and the members of the Metropolitan Police Department who worked on these cases. We, as a city, will not let criminals get away with senselessly taking innocent lives, nor will we ever accept this type of violence as normal.”
