“Mission Group to open 13,000 sq ft Royal Palm Social Club across from Nats Park”

Ed. Note: This follows the news from the same group about Salazar, Tex-Mex, coming to former El Centro space on 14th Street that we reported last week.

From a press release:

“Royal Palm Social Club, from DC-based Mission Group owners Fritz Brogan and Reed Landry, will open in spring, 2022 at 26 N Street and Van Street SE in the new West Half building directly across from the centerfield gates of National Park.

The two-floor bar-centric restaurant will be built in a sprawling 13,000 square-foot space. (more…)

“We’re Block Sushi, a brand new sushi & poke restaurant in Brookland, located right in Tastemakers! Our grand opening is today and we’d really love to spread the word about our little mom and pop spot. We’re running a grand opening special with $5 off to celebrate. We open at 11, and close at 7pm from Tuesday-Sunday!”
