Brookland/Edgewood’s “new communal kitchen and gourmet food hall with its own bar”, Tastemakers, is now open!

Their website says:

“Our vision is to build what food startups like ours need: a well-run commercial kitchen in which members can work without breaking the bank. The back of the house is bustling with the rising stars who drive the DC culinary scene.

The front of the house will feature a gourmet food hall and market highlighting our city’s great small and mid-sized food startups.

We’ve added a bar (open now!) emphasizing craft cocktails and local brews and building a neighborhood gathering space where taste testers, the area food lovers, can interact with our taste makers.

We want this to be a place for engagement and education for anyone interested in learning culinary skills or trying out a hot new concept. We offer kitchen tours, cooking classes and chef’s table events for the public. More information can be found on our events page.

We hope you’ll take a place at our table, in the vibrant Brookland neighborhood.”

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
