PoP Preview: Mad Momos Opening in Columbia Heights on Dec. 11th

3605 14th St, NW

Back in late August we checked on the progress at Mad Momos coming to 3605 14th St, NW. It was looking very promising. Remember when it used to look like this? You can also see the amount of work that was done here. Now the space will make your jaw drop:

Their website says:

mad momos is a restaurant, beer deck and lounge in the heart of Columbia Heights, Washington, DC. We offer New American and crossover cuisine with a focus on hand-crafted momos.

WHAT’S A MOMO?
A momo is a tasty dumpling native to the Himalayan region. Almost all cultures have some variation of a momo – a savory or sweet stuffing wrapped in a sheet of pasta. Our unique artisanal momos are made on premise. We offer a fun, new, “mad” twist on the traditional momo with creative fillings, pasta and our dipping sauces complement each momo meal. Our pasta is made daily from scratch and our meats are all house-ground.

COME ENJOY OUR SPACE
Guests can enjoy a variety of spaces at mad momos. The first level contains a full-service bar and main dining area that extends onto an outdoor terrace with sidewalk seating. The second level features more dining, a charming treetop patio, vaulted ceiling lounge and second bar. Large windows, folding doors and skylights bring in lots of natural light. Exposed brick walls will feature rotating artwork from local artists as well as several green panels created by local permaculturists.

CRAFT BEER ENTHUSIASTS TAKE NOTE
Grab some friends or meet new ones while you enjoy a beer on our rooftop deck with picnic tables. It’s the perfect spot to savor one of 16 thoughtfully selected beers on tap and in bottles. Stop by now to try our winter selections.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
