He has been taking care of my dog for years, and has always been so sweet and kind with him. Mike is the gentlest soul and I literally can’t stand to take my dog to anyone else. He’s such an important part of our dog community and everyone who knows Mike loves him. Levon’s dog groomer, Groomer Mike, is so beloved that there is often a 2-3 month wait to get appointments with him. It turns out he’s had some serious health issues and could use some help. I hope the DC dog community can rally”

“Our colleague and friend Mike, affectionately known as Groomer Mike, was hospitalized in early April with Pneumonia and is experiencing severe complications, that continue to affect his lungs and heart.
His journey to recovery entails extensive medical treatments, medications and possibly future surgeries. Mike is now burdened with mounting medical expenses, while he struggles to return to work and his daily routines of caring for his wife (Virlene) and his two young children (Grace & Faith).
Many of you, his long-time clients and friends, have asked us how you can assist him during this challenging time. This GoFundMe page was created in an effort to ease the burden that missed work and medical bills have put on him and his family.
We are looking forward to Mike’s return. He truly loves grooming your four-legged friends and his care and compassion for all of our pups is something we all know and love. His absence has left a noticeable void in our workplace, as we know it has in your hearts and the lives of your four-legged friends.
