I wanted to send an update to this story you posted about a woman in Navy Yard yelling at dog owners about them not feeding their dogs enough. I had an encounter with this same lady in Dupont Circle today (Tuesday). She held up traffic to slow down and yell out her car windows at me that my dog was “acting that way” (barking at a squirrel, ha) because I underfeed my dog. (more…)

Bryna asks: “is anyone else having trouble with the DC at home test kits? I opened two different kits and the website couldn’t locate either of them with the data provided on the vial. (I swear I triple checked the numbers before hitting enter.)
Ok– called DC health and got some answers. You should NOT type in the “T-” when you are registering your home test (which in my opinion is not at all clear based on the instructions and sample they provide)” (more…)

“Today, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced a four-month amnesty program giving drivers the opportunity to pay outstanding tickets for parking, photo enforcement (including speed, red-light, and stop sign), and minor moving violations. The amnesty program will run from June 1, 2021 to September 30, 2021, and includes tickets issued before September 30, 2021. This program is launching as the District plans to restart on June 1 several government functions– such as all parking enforcement, towing of illegally parked vehicles, and requirements to renew vehicle registrations and inspections– that had been suspended during the coronavirus (COVID-19) public health emergency.
