“Dear PoPville,

This past week has been crazy booting and towing by the city. Yesterday there were 6 on our street booted in the AM and towed by the afternoon. We saw a ton of tow trucks today as well. We live in Bloomingdale. Is this happening in every neighborhood? Just seems bizarre all at once after months/years of really nothing.”

Eligible D.C. residents can now apply for the 2020 Visitors Parking Pass

“The Visitor Parking Pass (VPP) program is designed to allow guests of District residents to park for more than two hours on Residential Permit Parking or RPP-zoned blocks. A VPP is only valid during the hours of RPP enforcement and in the same RPP zone and ANC boundary as the residence. The passes are not necessary on holidays or other times when parking restrictions are not subject to enforcement.

Police Parking Poorly

“Dear PoPville,

This is the second time in a week (and umpteenth time this year) that the police have parked in our designated, residential handicapped parking spot. Not for emergency purposes, but for their convenience because we live across the street from the police station. The last time they did this they left the car in the spot overnight. I have at least a dozen other photos of them parking in our spot.”
