Panamanian coffee roaster Unido, which opened its very first U.S. location at La Cosecha in 2019, is moving into a larger anchor space with a kitchen and bar, while Miguel Guerra’s Donisima Donuts will move into Unido’s former location as a permanent home. Icon DC “a center for immersive art, performance, and theatrical experiences” coming to the Bohemian Cavern building on U Street. And they fixed the neon sign!!

ICON sends the above pic to us: “We’re kinda excited for this moment getting the neon working ❤️‍🔥 We are focused on getting the outside back to looking beautiful again – We will be rehabbing the piano keys so the work again and the saxophone as well.”

We’re continuing to move through the licensing process while completing decor updates inside the space.

Our goal is to host select pop-up events in March as we wait for our liquor license approval.

YO! More Bakery News. Double Goodness. Kneads Bakeshop & Café coming to Logan Circle AND Chevy Chase!!

Whew. Earlier this morning we posted about the TOUS les JOURS bakery coming to Union Market. And now, BarredinDC peeped an IG post about Kneads Bakeshop coming to Logan Circle. BUT that’s not all, when you go to the Kneads’ website you see they are ALSO coming to Chevy Chase.
