“ICON DC | 4 Levels | 3 Unique Spaces | Over 12,000 Sq Ft
2001 11th St NW – Washington, DC | Coming Soon 🌈”

ICON sends the above pic to us: “We’re kinda excited for this moment getting the neon working ❤️🔥 We are focused on getting the outside back to looking beautiful again – We will be rehabbing the piano keys so the work again and the saxophone as well.”
Nice!
ICON wrote in late February:
“ICON DC Update
We’re continuing to move through the licensing process while completing decor updates inside the space.
Our goal is to host select pop-up events in March as we wait for our liquor license approval.
ICON DC will open in phases, and hiring will also happen in phases as we build toward full operations.
Thank you for your continued support. More details soon.”
ICON asks this morning: “Late night food options?

We’re exploring an idea and wanted to hear what the community thinks.
While our other floors close at 3am, we’ve been considering shifting the main floor to late-night food service from 2am–6am.
The idea would be more of a late-night diner vibe — similar to Denny’s or IHOP — giving people a place to sit down and eat instead of standing on the sidewalk or dealing with the chaos fast-food spots turn into at 3am.
The menu would be very simple — about 3 breakfast-style options, good portions, reasonably priced.
Security would remain on site so the environment stays controlled and relaxed, with lights up, music turned down, and tables back out for dining.
We’d love to hear what people think about the idea.”

The liquor license placard for ICON says:
“A multipurpose establishment that will serve as a center for immersive art, performance, and theatrical experiences. Seating Capacity of 285. Indoor Total Occupancy Load of 750. Sidewalk Cafe Endorsement with a seating capacity of 20 and Total Occupancy Load of 40. Applicant is requesting the Holiday Extension of Hours Endorsement.”
STAY TUNED.
