So all summer long I’ve felt like I have been tripping over yellow jackets. They are seemingly everywhere and always just buzzing along the ground. I’ve wondered what the hell is going on, and then I stumbled a tree completely infested with lantern flies and the ground around it was slick with syrupy honey dew (their shit), and a swarm of bees, hornets, and yellow jackets were lapping it up.
Curious to see if other folks have had a similar encounter because this sucks!”

Any idea what’s going on with the new apartments on 4600 block of Wisconsin Ave (the former Kitty O’Sheas)? It’s been months since there were any workers on site and it’s half done. I lost my left airpod after getting whacked by the train door at Pentagon City trying to make it onto the metro 😭 I checked with the station manager at l’enfant when making my transfer and someone had turned it in! “The moth was photographed on a garbage bin outside of the Giant in Silver Spring. I only noticed it because someone walking a small dog was pulled to a stop while the dog was investigating the moth. I was curious and stopped as well to see this moth just hanging, looking for some offerings.”
