“The District’s reported data for Monday, December 21, 2020 includes 160 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 26,900.

The District reported that two additional residents lost their lives due to COVID-19.

· 68-year-old female

Tragically, 744 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

“Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) launched the application for the $29.5 million Entertainment Bridge Fund, which will provide grants ranging between $10,000-$250,000 for entertainment venues grappling with the COVID-19 public health emergency. The Entertainment Bridge Fund is part of The Bridge Fund, a $100 million initiative aimed at providing financial relief to the hotel, restaurant, retail, and entertainment sectors.
