“Attorney General Brian L. Schwalb today announced that the Residences at Kenilworth Park, LLC (RKP), the developer and owner of an assisted living apartment complex in Ward 7, will pay $200,000 and permanently protect remaining wetlands on its property to resolve allegations that it violated multiple District environmental laws during construction, including illegally draining neighboring wetlands and discharging pollutants into DC waters. Tuesday night a parade of 8 cars, including DC police, ICE, and FBI, parked in the unit block alley between V and W NW and went through all our trash cans. What made it extra weird was the 5, 25 year old white males in suits who accompanied them.

I heard one of them say to another, “we know they were headed down north cap and went into the alley off W” and they responded “doesn’t help that it’s trash day.” (more…)

“The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect involved in a threats offense that occurred in Northwest.

On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at approximately 8:25 a.m., Third District officers were flagged down in reference to an incident that had just occurred in the 3000 block of 14th Street, Northwest. The preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect yelled homophobic slurs and made threats to do bodily harm to the victim. (more…)
